Willow, you ??? the father…

Baby Girl came to see me yesterday with updates on her brother, Willow [Steve’s former boyfriend]. She’s been all over the neighborhood. She even enlisted the help of her sister, Bubbles, to gather information.

For starters, Willow’s spending more and more time with Greg and Cindy from FelExodus. He’s even talking about going on a retreat with Greg to learn how to “unleash his Inner Warrior.”

Could this be Willow’s “Inner Warrior?” Doubtful.

Addicted to love… and dog food.

I’m starting to worry about the old lady Violet. Between Steve’s constant need to “process” what’s going on with Willow [I still haven’t told him all the details] and Ethel’s amplified mood swings since her concert was a flop, I fear Violet’s aged, frazzled nerves can’t take much more.

Lately I’ve noticed Violet getting addicted to food…and I mean ADDICTED. Her biggest weakness is for the furry beasts’ food. Every time our moms feed the beasts, Violet hobbles out to the kitchen hoping to catch a few bites.

A brave (or is it desperate?) Violet attacking The General’s food bowl.

(Ex) Gays of our Lives

So much for taking a break from the drama. Steve asked me for help getting down to the source of this:

For once I actually felt a little sorry for Steve. He was completely perplexed as to why Willow was in that ad. I knew right away what the ad meant, so I kept my eyes peeled for Willow’s sister Baby Girl. Continue reading

As the Gay Turns

steve-12_profile-circleSteve here. Carol’s been acting funny lately (well, acting like a real cat, but for Carol that’s weird), so I’ve had more time on the computer. Works for me. Besides, I’m doing my best to steer clear of Ethel right now. She hates me on a good day, and with the mood she’s in after her “concert” flopped, things could get ugly. I normally enjoy tormenting her, but even I know when to lay low.

Ethel on a good day, haha.

“Me” time

As I feared, Ethel’s show was a total bust. Only two cats came – Baby Girl and Bubbles. Evidently her success is limited to the internet.

Needless to say, the mood in the house has not been good. Ethel refuses to come out of her room. Just a glance in her direction and she lashes out. Poor Violet is bearing the brunt of her anger.

I’m trying to steer clear. Frankly, I’m tired of all the drama around here. For right now I just want to be a cat. I need to do me.

So I’m focusing on activities we cats enjoy:
